Two freelance theatre groups have combined to form a team standing for individual artistic freedom.
Theatre Combinale has been a fixture in Lübeck’s cultural life since 1987. Originally, it was a Free Church but today you can immerse yourself in productions in the confines of the theatre which come to life mainly as a result of works they have written themselves. They enjoy picking up on political and social trends and staging them in close contact with the audience. Theatre Combinale also regularly stages productions and plays in public spaces, enlivening a variety of locations such as St. Peter’s or the Gollan shipyard.
