The former cargo holds of a barge now house this cosy theatre.
The Lübeck Theatre Ship now lies at anchor not far from the Music and Congress Centre. Where gravel and coal used to be stored, today there is a small theatre with 156 seats in the interior of the cargo vessel. An inviting foyer with catering to accompany the performance also finds space in the ship’s hold. A special highlight for theatre-goers: From the open-air deck above the auditorium, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Old Town. The town’s first and only floating stage delights spectators with high-level light entertainment. This includes romantic comedies as well as reviews and guest performances by famous artists.
