TRANSITION GARDEN

The ÜBERGANGSGARTEN is ÜBERGANGSWEISE in its most natural form: from spring to summer to fall, from apple blossom to little apples to harvest. Between tomatoes, mint and rocket, you can dream of the city of the future. Simply settle down and enjoy, because between almost 200 green raised beds there is not much to do apart from idleness, wonderful! All you need to bring is yourself, accompanied by loved ones. There's a digging corner for the little ones, plenty of seating and a green area for picnic lovers. There are also occasional performances by street artists and hands-on activities by Kolk17 Figurentheater & Museum.

WYLD!Figure research in the green - an exhibition that grows with you
The motto is: explore the interplay of nature, culture, figure... In the ÜBERGANGSGARTEN you can experience different phases of figure design and get active yourself. Starting with combining materials to create figures, through researching these creatures, to the exhibition in the "greenhouse". Under the guidance of an experienced team of cultural and theater educators and supporters, you will have the opportunity to invent your own figures from natural and cultural materials that will tell their stories inside the garden.

Puppet theater will also find its place and turn the garden into its stage, because here too everything revolves around nature.Over three days, guests can experience the "Ameisenstraße" - fascinating performances of the living animal and plant world.
