The Winnow Vision is an intelligent waste weigh scale which is fitted with a camera and intelligent scales and uses the same machine learning technology as can be found in self-driving cars. With this technology, it learns to recognise various types of food which is thrown away and calculates the financial and ecological cost of this waste. In this way, the company can adjust food orders accordingly and thus act more sustainably and better protect resources.
