For all backpackers, camping fans and those on a tight budget: There are great youth hostels and campsites in Lübeck here.

The youth hostels in Lübeck offer the option of low-priced accommodation. Those preferring to get out and about in a motorhome or caravan, can stay overnight at the "Campingplatz Schönböcken".

Youth Hostel “Vor dem Burgtor”
A tastefully furnished house with a friendly atmosphere awaits you. The large hall on the top floor provides lots of space for communal activities The youth hostel "Vor dem Burgtor" is also equipped for seminars and so is of particular interest to conference guests. The ground floor has been designed for wheelchair users. The house is open daily until 22 pm. The youth hostel in Lübeck is a meeting point for cultural experiences. A wide range of historically and culturally themed activities on the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lübeck are organised through the youth hostel. A brochure is available there with the programme.

Youth Hostel "Altstadt"
The "Youth Hostel Lübeck - Altstadt" has found a home in a merchant house built in 1761. This unique location means that all sights can be easily reached on foot. There are 83 beds in total, divided into five single rooms, 16 twin bed rooms, three 3-bed rooms, eight 4-bed rooms and one 6-bed room. All rooms have washbasins. Central showers and toilets are provided on each floor. The conference room is used for the breakfast buffet in the morning. The house is open daily until 22 pm.
