Water gauge house

The "Pegelhäuschen" is located directly on the Trave estuary with a view of the four-masted barque "Passat". By the way, "gauge" refers to the water level of the Trave, which has been systematically measured and documented at this point since 1826. The passing ferries and cruise ships are close enough to touch. In this historic building, small fish-related snacks are offered in many variations.
