Lübeck open air stage

The open-air theater in Lübeck is run by the Zander + Sommerfeldt family with a lot of heart and enthusiasm.

It is a great pleasure for the family to present theater experiences for young and old.

This year the following performances await you:

25. 6.-3. 9. 2023 | The Sams "A Week Full of Saturdays"
Mr. Taschenbier is an anxious person. He is afraid of his landlady, of his boss and of all people who scold and give orders - until one Saturday a Sams crosses his path and decides without further ado to stay with him. The Sams is a fearless, almost disrespectful creature who is not intimidated by anything or anyone, who makes cheeky remarks everywhere and scolds back when others scold him. At first, Mr. Taschenbier is terribly embarrassed by this and tries all sorts of ways to get rid of the Sams. But strangely, the longer it stays with Mr. Taschenbier, the more he likes the Sams. And in the end, the good, fearful Mr. Taschenbier becomes a self-confident person who has learned to assert himself.

Master detective Sherlock Holmes was declared dead after falling down the Reichenbach Falls in a fight with Professor Moriarty. Watson, who after Holmes' tragic death has finished with everything criminal, now lives with his wife Mary in a tranquil small town called Guildford in the south of England. As the mysterious events at Hatchlands Park, the country estate of the British Lord Chancellor Stanley Gifford, accumulate, Mary and John Watson view the warnings of the recently acquainted Captain Robertson in a completely different light. Captain Timothy Robertson reports that Moriarty's most dangerous and brutal accomplice, Colonel Sebastian Moran, has escaped execution and is now planning a bloody vendetta. Not for the first time, Watson wishes for the support of his former companion...
