Lübeck theater ship

The former cargo holds of the barge now house a cozy theater with 156 seats.

Not far from the Music and Congress Hall, the Lübeck Theater Ship is anchored. Where gravel and coal were once stored, the freighter's interiors now house a cozy theater. An inviting foyer with theater-accompanying gastronomy also has space in the ship's belly. A special highlight for theatergoers: they can enjoy a great view of the old town from the open-air deck above the auditorium before, during and after the performance. The first and only floating stage in the city delights its audience with light entertainment at a high level. This includes relationship comedies as well as revues and guest performances by renowned artists.
