TRANSITION ROOM at the town hall

With the ÜBERGANGSRAUM concept, we want to counteract current vacancies, revitalize the city centre with new connections between regional, city centre-oriented manufacturing, creativity, culture and trade and create new experiences for Lübeck residents and visitors to the old town. To this end, the business development agency rents vacant commercial properties in the city center and makes them available to users with innovative concepts at a reduced rate.

The second ÜBERGANGSRAUM offers a mixture of diverse usage concepts. The space is located in the pedestrian zone in the immediate vicinity of the town hall. With this mixed-use concept, we want to show how vacancies above retail space can be used. A variety of activities are offered, including a yoga school, German courses for migrants, a writing and book salon, IT courses for children and young people, acrylic painting workshops, sustainability advice and wine courses.
