As a regional company, the Association is proud of the fact that its guides go everywhere on foot or by bicycle, thereby avoiding carbon emissions. Great care is taken on guided tours to only work with local companies. In addition, many guides use a bicycle or local public transport to get to work.

Lübecker Stadtführer e.V. offers guided tours in 16 languages on various themes in and around the city of Lübeck. The network consists of over 70 members who create a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Association organises further education events and regularly donates to refurbishment projects and cultural institutions.
