In Travemünde, most recently a small recharging station for e-bikes was installed, which also offers lockers for valuables. And best of all: the electricity is provided by the sun. The Kurbetrieb Travemünde is responsible for the creation, maintenance, organisation and operation of public tourist facilities in the spa and seaside resort of Travemünde. The Kurbetrieb is one of the first partners to join the Sustainability Network for Lübeck and Travemünde. The Kurbetrieb is deeply committed to get actively involved in contributing to climate and coastal protection, to bearing in mind the wellbeing of the staff and to promote responsible tourism in the Travemünde within the framework of the departments responsibilities and tasks. By participating in the TourCert initiative, the sustainability commitment is further expanded and prioritized. In addition, the close contacts are being held with many providers of holiday flats to ensure that these hosts also take further steps towards more sustainability.
