For a good 250 years, people have been coming to the centrally located Beckergrube where to this day, the theatre with its three stages can still be found between residen tial apartments and commercial buildings. Theatre Lübeck has won numerous awards for its productions. Every season, it thrills audiences with its extensive repertoire of musical theatre and drama. The Philharmonic Orchestra is synonymous with a sound for which the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is famous beyond its home venue, Lübeck's Music and Congress Centre.
